To ensure safe and orderly storage and movement of materials and products. To effectively manage all approved supply and receiving and dispatching activities associated with warehousing.
- Maintain and secure physical receipt of all incoming materials of the plant.
- Maintain and secure physical storage of all company stock in the warehouse.
- Implement and oversee security procedures for stock.
- Monitor Warehouse and Finished Goods staff
- Ensure the avoidance of stock outs by means of regular monitoring of stock levels.
- Liaise with all relevant departments linked to raw materials, production, dispatch and receiving.
- Monitor Warehouse staff with regards to kitting from batch picking slips.
- Liaise constantly with the Supply Chain Manager on all issues.
- Liaise constantly with Production Foreman and Supervisors.
- Liaise with Procurement on relevant matters.
- Ensure that the Blue Card system is updated.
- Ensure that Material Pickers keep the Blue Card system up to date.
- Do random checks/audits on the kitting area and bins e.
- Issue the stock off the system (Forward).
- Transfer stock on the system (Forward).

- Contribute to the continuous improvement indicating possible solutions.
- Follow the health and safety procedures in order to eliminate any risks of work related accidents or incidents
- To report any accidents, incidents (breakages).
- Assist in reasonable requests where applicable and where input is required.
- Min grade 12.
- A warehouse related qualification, i.e. certificates/diploma/degree.
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- Communicate well to subordinates and all levels in the Company.
- Computer literate: Excel, Word. Stock control (Forward)
- Minimum 5-7 years in related positions (preferably in a manufacturing/production environment)
